We are currently seeking a passionate chef to join our team at the Italian Bakery Cafe in Swanage for day shifts only (no evenings). We are a growing group of unique, award-winning Italian restaurants, gastro pubs, cafes, and bakeries, based in Dorset, committed to delivering high-quality, fresh food and exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
As a chef, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cafe style hot and cold food items for the cafe, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen. You will work closely with the kitchen team to develop new items, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, monitor inventory levels, and order supplies. Other responsibilities include preparing food in a timely manner, managing food waste, and ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have previous experience working as a chef in a busy cafe or restaurant environment. You should have good cooking skills, attention to detail, and be able to work under pressure. A passion for food and customer satisfaction is also essential.

We are open to applicants searching for either part-time or full-time permanent, with shifts typically being from 07:30 - 4:30 in the daytime.
