Commercial Vehicle Damage Assessor
Location: Long Bennington, Lincolnshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 per year
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a major automotive repair business in Long Bennington. You will assess accident-damaged commercial vehicles and produce accurate estimates in line with manufacturer and insurer requirements.
The Role:
- Completing detailed assessments of damaged LCVs and HGVs using Audatex or similar estimating systems
- Producing clear, cost-effective repair estimates following manufacturer and insurer guidelines
- Working closely with the workshop, parts department and customer care team to maintain smooth repair processes
- Providing professional communication with customers, insurers and engineers
- Ensuring estimates and documentation are completed accurately and on time
The Person:
- Background in VDA or Estimator work within accident repair
- ATA VDA accreditation (or working towards this)
- Knowledge of LCV and HGV vehicle types is desirable
- Confident using Audatex and other estimating tools
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Detail-focused, efficient and professional in approach
