Role Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Administrator with at least one year’s payroll experience to join our fast-paced payroll team. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in line with current legislation.
You will be responsible for day-to-day payroll tasks, working closely with colleagues and clients, and supporting the smooth delivery of payroll and pension services across our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing payrolls for a portfolio of clients
- Setting up starters and processing leavers
- Processing Attachments of Earnings (AOEs) and Direct Earnings Attachments (DEAs)
- Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
- Uploading pension contributions to the relevant pension provider dashboards
- Producing payroll reports and payslips
- Assisting with payroll queries from clients and colleagues
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year’s payroll experience (bureau experience desirable but not essential)
- Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory payments
- Good understanding of workplace pensions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment
- Confident using payroll software and Excel
- Professional and clear communication skills
Pay, Hours & Benefits
- Hours: 40 hours per week to be completed between Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 4:45pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Hybrid working - once trained, half the time in the office and half working from home

- Holiday: 5.6 weeks annual leave, plus an additional day off for your birthday

Pay: £25,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
