We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time Events Coordinator to join our Private Events team at the award-winning 5-Star deluxe hotel – The Connaught.

The Role:
As Events Coordinator, you will play a key role supporting the team in day-to-day administration to ensure the Events department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be dealing with all events enquiries from the initial stages, therefore you will be required to have an in depth knowledge of food and beverage and be able to recommend and discuss the hotel and our offer with guests over the telephone and face to face. As Events Groups Coordinator will be responsible for all food and beverage guest correspondence, confirming Private Events bookings; sending out enquiry literature, confirming quotes etc. You will also create event menus, place cards, table plans and signage for all events.
Responsibilities:
You will be a natural and confident communicator, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. You will be a highly organised individual, able to manage your time effectively possessing the attribute of a skilled administrator who can prioritises tasks on a day to day basis. You also must be highly personable and being proactive is a must! We anticipate that the ideal candidate will have worked in within a similar environment.
