We are looking for an passionate Care Home Manager with a specialism in elderly care to lead a family run care home in Great Torrington, Devon on a 12 month contract basis. (there is a possibility of the role becoming perm)

About the Role
As Care Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the leadership, culture, quality, and performance of the home. You will be empowered to build a dementia service rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and innovation.
You will:
Lead, inspire, and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team
Set and maintain outstanding standards of dementia care and person-centred practice
Create a warm, homely, and stimulating environment for residents living with dementia
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations
Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively without losing sight of care quality
Champion continuous improvement and new approaches to dementia care
About You
We are looking for a Registered Manager in North Devon who has has a good track record of GOOD CQC reports!
You will bring:
Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager
History of achieving GOOD CQC reports
In-depth knowledge of dementia best practice and regulatory requirements
A visible, values-led leadership style that motivates and empowers teams
A genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with dementia
