Responsibilities
- 1st and 2nd fix of various systems within the New Build Sector.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Gas or Air Source Heat Pump qualifications desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems effectively.
- Basic maths skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required.
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites.
- Familiarity with welding techniques for pipe assembly is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
