Sun Trade Windows, Doors & Conservatories is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality windows, doors and conservatories to the trade. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our Newbury team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established company with over 45 years of industry experience, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the outstanding service they're accustomed to.
The Role
Based at our Newbury depot, your day will primarily involve:
- Receiving deliveries from our Head Office manufacturing facility.
- Helping to safely unload incoming deliveries
- Organising products ready for onward distribution
- Loading the depot delivery vehicle accurately and securely
- Delivering windows, doors and conservatories to trade customers throughout the local area
- Checking deliveries for accuracy before departure
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers on site
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Carrying out basic daily vehicle checks
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit, as heavy lifting is involved
- Friendly and customer-focused
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to represent Sun Trade professionally when visiting customers
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to safely handle large glazed products
