Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of the restaurant, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness all times
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all assigned areas are addressed promptly and effectively
- Use janitorial equipment safely and correctly, including vacuum cleaners, mops, buffers, and cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the directors promptly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to chemical use and equipment handling
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
