Job Summary
We are looking for a kind, reliable and caring Caregiver to support our Mother in her home. The role involves helping her with everyday tasks, providing companionship and making sure they feel comfortable, safe and supported.
Previous care experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided.
All applicants must be local to Epsom, Surrey. Available shifts are ah-hoc.
Duties
- Help with everyday personal care where required
- Prepare simple meals and drinks
- Provide companionship and friendly conversation
- Help with light household tasks such as tidying and laundry
- Support client with getting around safely
- Assist with shopping, appointments or other everyday activities
- Remind clients to take medication where appropriate
- Keep family members or other carers updated when needed
- Follow basic health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- A caring, patient and friendly attitude
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Previous care experience is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and undertake any necessary training
