Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse Level 3 to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children within a nurturing environment. This role requires strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine passion for early childhood development. The Nursery Nurse Level 3 will work closely with colleagues to ensure the safety, well-being, and developmental progress of all children in their care.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supervise and monitor children’s behaviour, ensuring a safe and supportive environment at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any concerns regarding their wellbeing.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children’s development and address any individual needs or concerns.
- Lead and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment through effective management and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and childcare standards.
- Organise daily routines including meal times, outdoor play, and rest periods to promote holistic development.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery activities, outings, and special events that enhance children's experiences.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to childcare management as required.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities.
- Demonstrated ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- A caring attitude combined with professionalism and patience in working with young children.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,890.34 per year
