Job Description:
Dr Ashdown's Stockton Lodge is a 40 bedded care home with 2 dedicated challenging behaviour units and a mixed residential/nursing unit. Our residents have a variety of physical and mental health issues. We are a close knit team and are looking for a night nurse to join us.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (DAYS) to join our nursing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
Duties
Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the healthcare setting.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.
Experience
Candidates should have a valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a focus on:
Patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
Medication administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
A solid understanding of anatomy knowledge to provide effective care.
