ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – FULL TIME, PERMANENT
£60,000 per annum including tronc

What we’re looking for:
· Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Manager or strong Senior Manager within a premium or high-end restaurant environment
· A proven background working in busy, quality-led restaurants with consistently high service standards
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and support a large front-of-house team
· Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, service standards and guest experience
· Commercial awareness, including labour control, sales performance, stock, costs and overall profitability
· Confidence managing busy services and making calm, effective decisions under pressure
· Experience training teams and maintaining consistently high standards across every shift
· A warm, polished and confident approach with guests
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and wider management team
· Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for premium hospitality
The role:
As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of HoneyShade, supporting the General Manager across all areas of the restaurant operation. You will help lead the front-of-house team, maintain exceptional service standards and ensure every guest receives the level of hospitality expected from a premium restaurant.
This is a hands-on leadership role, so we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable leading a busy service, coaching the team, speaking with guests and supporting the commercial performance of the restaurant.
You will be a visible presence on the floor and a key point of support for the wider management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant General Manager from a premium restaurant background who wants to join an exciting new opening and play a genuinely important role in shaping the team, culture and guest experience from day one.
