Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour

About the Role
You'll provide one-to-one support for young people aged 16–22 with complex physical disabilities and healthcare needs.
The people you support:
- Are registered blind.
- Use wheelchairs.
- Have complex physical health and communication needs.
- Live active, fulfilling lives with the right support.
Every individual has unique goals and aspirations, and you'll play a key role in helping them achieve greater independence while ensuring their health, wellbeing and safety remain at the heart of everything you do.
If you work waking nights, your focus will be maintaining a safe environment, monitoring wellbeing, providing reassurance and responding promptly to any overnight care needs.
Your Responsibilities
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Support with personal care and moving and handling.
- Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
- Support communication and emotional wellbeing.
- Monitor health and report any changes or concerns.
- Complete accurate care records and handovers.
- Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- Promote dignity, independence, choice and respect at all times.
Full training will be provided for all specialist clinical interventions required.
About You

Essential Requirements
- Ideally at least six months' experience in a care setting.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
- Flexibility to work days or waking nights, including some weekends.
- Willingness to complete specialist complex care training.
- Right to work in the UK.
