Duties
- Perform a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring & styling. .
- Provide personalised consultations to understand client preferences & recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organised work station adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, & answering queries professionally.
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client experience & business growth.
- Build strong relationships with clients through attentive service & personalised care to encourage repeat business.
Skills
- Proven experience in professional hairdressing with a portfolio demonstrating versatility in styles and colour techniques.
- Skills in barbering are advantageous for serving diverse client needs.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Experience in store management or supervisory roles is beneficial for those aspiring to leadership positions within the salon.
- Ability to mentor junior staff members by sharing technical expertise and fostering a positive team environment.
- Proactive approach towards upselling products or services that meet client needs while contributing to business growth. Pay: £24,420.00-£51,949.23 per year
