Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing is a growing housing provider dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality accommodation and person-centred support to vulnerable adults. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Officer to join our Birmingham team and provide practical and emotional support to tenants across our housing portfolio.

About the Role
As a Support Officer, you will work closely with tenants to provide tailored support that enables them to maintain their accommodation and achieve positive outcomes. You will carry out needs assessments, develop support plans, coordinate referrals to external agencies and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality housing support services.
The role involves working across our Birmingham operations, supporting individuals from a range of backgrounds while ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are always upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to tenants, helping them maintain and sustain their tenancies.
- Carry out needs and risk assessments and develop tailored support plans.
- Signpost and refer tenants to appropriate health, wellbeing, employment and community services.
- Maintain accurate case notes, support plans and records in line with organisational requirements.
- Identify safeguarding concerns and follow organisational safeguarding procedures.
- Work closely with Housing Officers, Referral Officers and external agencies to deliver coordinated support.
- Encourage tenants to develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals.
About You
We're looking for someone who is caring, organised and committed to supporting vulnerable people to achieve positive outcomes.
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or an equivalent qualification).
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults within supported housing, homelessness, health or social care services.
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and best practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work professionally while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience supporting tenancy sustainment or homelessness prevention.
- Knowledge of local support services and referral pathways across Birmingham.
