We are a Specialist Manufacturer in the Merchandising and Shopfitting trade and undertake a wide variety of projects.
We are looking for time served bench joiner in our factory based in Halifax who can work as a team and take their own initiative on a wide range of projects.
Candidates must have 5+ years experience as a bench hand joiner and minimum NVQ Level 2. You must be apprentice trained as a Bench Hand, be able to set-out and use a full range of wood working machinery & hand held power tools.
Job role requirements,
To manufacture purpose made joinery work from the workshop for point of sale and visual merchandise type-based products.
To ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.
To carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post at all times in compliance with the Company Procedures and Policies.
You will be manufacturing high end bespoke furniture and joinery work with solid timber, solid surface, laminates and veneers.
Must be able to understand production schedules and technical/construction/assembly drawings.
Be able to demonstrate accuracy in measuring and cutting raw materials to ensure optimum usage and minimum wastage.
Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and company guidelines.
To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
Applicant must have their own hand tools.
Hours - Mon - Fri 08.00 - 16.30 but may require extra hours and weekend work depending on demand.

Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
