Swim Central Preston is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Female Lifeguard to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about water safety, enjoys working with people, and wants to develop their career within the leisure industry.
Hours
- 23.75 hours per week
- Shifts include evenings and weekends
- Flexibility is essential, as shifts may vary to cover holidays, sickness, and operational requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all customers.
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Enforce pool safety rules and normal operating procedures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents.
- Carry out regular poolside checks and maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment.
- Support the wider team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
Essential Requirements
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Excellent awareness of water safety and emergency procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and proactive in a busy environment.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good availability and flexibility to support varying shift patterns.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
