About the Role
I’m looking for a creative, proactive Personal Content Creator to follow me throughout my day-to-day activities and produce engaging video content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long‑form content, etc.).
This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, understands social trends, and can capture authentic, in-the-moment footage while also editing it into polished, high-performing content.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Filming me throughout daily activities, meetings, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Creating short-form and long-form video content tailored to each platform
- Editing videos quickly and creatively, with strong attention to pacing and storytelling
- Suggesting content ideas, trends, hooks, and formats
- Managing a content calendar and helping plan shoots
- Ensuring consistent brand voice, style, and quality
- Occasionally assisting with basic photography
- Travelling locally as needed (primarily around Musselburgh and Edinburgh)
What I’m Looking For
- Strong videography and editing skills (mobile or camera-based — either is fine if the results are great)
- Experience with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently and capture content on the fly
- Creative thinker with a good eye for storytelling and trends
- Comfortable being around people, filming in public, and adapting to changing situations
- Reliable, organised, and able to turn around edits quickly
- A portfolio or examples of previous content creation work
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of social media analytics
- Experience growing personal or brand accounts
- Ability to create thumbnails, captions, and basic graphics
- Photography skills

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
