M&M Removals & Storage are looking for experienced, hardworking and reliable Removals Operatives to join our growing team.
We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and understand the importance of providing excellent service to our customers.
The Role
As a Removals Operative, your responsibilities will include:
● Loading and unloading removals vehicles safely and efficiently
● Packing and protecting customers’ furniture and belongings
● Dismantling and reassembling furniture
● Wrapping and protecting furniture, mattresses and other items
● Carrying and moving heavy and awkward items safely
● Loading vehicles correctly and securely to prevent damage
● Deliveries and collections
● House, office and commercial removals
● Working as part of a team and occasionally working independently
● Providing professional and friendly customer service
● Keeping vehicles, equipment and working areas clean and organised
● Following company health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
● Previous experience working in the removals industry
● Experience with packing and protecting furniture
● Experience loading and unloading vehicles
● Experience dismantling and assembling furniture
● Good knowledge of safe lifting and carrying techniques
● A good attitude and strong work ethic
● Excellent attention to detail
● Good communication and customer service skills
● The ability to work well as part of a team
● Reliability and good timekeeping
● A professional appearance and attitude
● The ability to work in a physically demanding role
A full UK driving licence is preferred. HGV/LGV experience or a relevant licence is a bonus.
