Browns require a Section Leader for our Handbag/Accessories Department 28 hours over four days. One in every three or four Saturdays off, rota allowing.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic confident Section Leader to assist in the day to day running of our Accessories/Handbag Department in Browns York.
Retail Fashion Experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Target Delivery: Meet or exceed personal and section sales goals by using expert cross-selling and up-selling techniques.
- Floor Leadership: Support the department by setting a high standard for customer service.
- Product Expertise: Maintain advanced knowledge of handbag materials, seasonal collections, and fashion trends.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the handbag/accessories displays, shelving, and stock standards match the luxury presentation requirements of the brands.
- Stock & Inventory: Monitor stock levels, handle replenishment on the sales floor, and report inventory discrepancies.
- Movement and unpacking of stock
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial Acumen: You will drive all sales opportunities constantly seeking to improve profitability. You will exceed customer expectations & retail standards. A data-driven mindset focused on key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rates and average transaction value.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal rush. Have the flexibility to work extra days/hours if required to cover absences.
