The Transport and Mobility team are seeking to recruit two Transport Operations Officers to provide and support a safe and efficient operating environment for pedestrians and vehicles on all University campuses; helping to maximise the use of established transport facilities throughout the campus; discourage unauthorised mobility behaviour whilst exercising restraint and discretion and always giving due respect to all.
The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of duties supporting inspections, marshalling services and safety patrols; assist in providing traffic supervision throughout the campuses in relation to traffic flow, parking, events, and large deliveries in accordance with Health & Safety and environmental requirements.
The role works on a 5 over 7 shift pattern which rotates to support day, evening and weekend operations. Mandatory section.
