About Us:
Ethos Care Services based in Christchurch is a total care service that can adapt to suit the changing needs of our clients, we are currently looking for home support workers in the Christchurch and New Milton areas.
We can offer care and support ranging from simple assistance with shopping, to full care in our clients own home. We can even assist with residential respite care and rehabilitation should health needs dictate.
Our service benefits from close Director supervision, both of whom are on site and on hand regularly. With twenty years experience in the care sector we understand the value of this and its positive effect on service provision, and therefore crucially both our staff and our clients experience.

Your Responsibilities would Include:
- Supporting clients with personal care, helping them look and feel their best while maintaining their dignity and independence.
- Assisting with medication and carrying out basic wellbeing checks, including observations such as blood pressure and oxygen levels.
- Building genuine relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Accompanying clients on shopping trips, appointments, social activities, swimming sessions, lunches, and days out in the community.
- Taking part in our Falls Call-Out Service, providing reassurance and practical support when clients need it most.
- Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and management to ensure outstanding person-centred care.
- Encouraging clients to stay active, engaged, and independent in their own homes and communities.
One day you might be helping someone regain confidence after a fall, the next you could be accompanying a client swimming, enjoying a coffee and a chat, supporting a trip to the shops, or helping someone attend a local community event.
Our Requirements are:
- Maturity and empathy with our client group
- Good timekeeping skills
- Ability to work on self initiative
- Must be a UK Driving Licence holder
- Must have a caring nature
- Willing to work in the Christchurch or New Milton area
Pay: £13.91-£20.86 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
