As an Assembly Operative you’ll join our supportive Assembly team at our Denham site. This role will be focused on the assembly of a wide range of components whilst ensuring the correct quality and efficiency, using modern methods and measuring equipment. The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of an assembly production team to produce lifesaving equipment.
You’ll be involved in activities such as using technical specifications and drawing to produce assemblies as part of seat assembly.
This is an onsite role based at our Denham site.
What You’ll Do
- Checking materials, fixtures and threads to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Using your skill set to work with rivets and pipe bending machinery, use of adhesives and composite materials or using your swaging experience.
- Handle materials, goods and components carefully and complying with all safety regulations.
- Monitor the fitness of tools and equipment and providing their replacement or recalibration
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with jigs and hand tools.
- Basic grounding in Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Experience within Aerospace, Defence, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience using SAP.
- Share and demonstrate the Martin-Baker values.
