Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in care our care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
- Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Follow individual care plans to deliver tailored support
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all timesRequirements
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including some weekends or evenings if needed
Pay: £12.71 per hour
