Duties as a Panel Beater:
- Replace and repair damaged or compromised automotive body panels
- Conduct chassis and framework repairs to industry standards
- Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine the most effective repair methods
- Perform bumper and door repairs as necessary
- Ensure all repair work complies with internal quality standards and third-party requirements
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure operational efficiency and safety within the centre
Panel Beater Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater, with current or recent exposure to the role
- Formal NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is preferred; however, strong hands-on experience will be considered
- Excellent attention to detail with high-quality workmanship
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Experience or accreditation such as ATA or working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards would be advantageous but is not essential
