Role – Charity Administrator
Part time 20hrs per week, Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm

Who are we:
Think Ahead Stroke is a local charity based in Ince, Wigan. We are dedicated to improving the lives of stroke survivors, their carers and families by rebuilding health, hope and confidence through support, advice and friendship.
Purpose of the Job:
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Think Ahead Team: enabling Stroke Survivors and their Carers to access a robust programme of activities and events.
What will you bring to the role:
· A minimum of 1 year experience in administration / office based
· A strong organisational approach while being understanding of the needs of our service users.
· To be confident and experienced in administration and able to support senior management with day-to-day duties.
· Supporting on the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation, by comprising letters, reports and general correspondence including documenting meeting minutes. Experience of minute taking essential
· You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth running of daily operations alongside the operational manager, from managing paperwork, handling calls, emails and visitors.
· Maintain an organised filing systems and records.
· Organising room booking and room preparation for both for internal and external organisations.
· Meeting and greeting service users, collaborative partners and other visitors to the organisation
· Being a presence within the reception area to direct any visitors to the building.
· Leading on the production of a monthly newsletter for service users alongside the Operational manager.
· Attending promotional events as and when required
· Attending fundraising events as and when required
· Any other tasks commensurate with experience to support Think Ahead Team to provide a robust programme of activities and events
· Attend all necessary training offered by Think Ahead or other partner agencies
Finance & Fundraising Support
- Process invoices, expenses, and basic bookkeeping tasks when requested by the CEO
- Support the team with fundraising activities, including, event coordination, and grant application tracking.
- Support the Operational Manager maintain the charity’s website and communication channels.
Project & Service Support
- Assist the Project delivery officer with planning, monitoring, and delivering projects and programmes.
- Assist the Project delivery officer with admin after programme completion

· Proficiency in office software such as the Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, PowerPoint)
· Problem solving abilities
· To understand funding on a charity (desirable)
