Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role is in a busy fast paced kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill & pass.
- Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene at all times in line with health regulations
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stock.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and presentation is visually appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Previous restaurant experience is desirable, along with serving experience
- Team player & reliable.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen.
- Seasonal position considered but this is ideally a permanent position.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
