Are you organised, practical and great at keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
Lyons Holiday Parks is looking for a Stores Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our stores, stock and supplies. This is a hands-on role that is essential to keeping our parks operating efficiently and ensuring our teams have everything they need to deliver a great experience for our guests.
The Role
As Stores Manager, you will:
Manage the day-to-day running of the stores.
Receive, check and organise deliveries.
Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks.
Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when required.
Issue tools, equipment, materials and consumables to different departments.
Keep stores clean, secure, organised and easy to access.
Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and discrepancies.
Support purchasing and help ensure we achieve value for money.
Monitor tools and equipment and report any repair or replacement requirements.
Ensure stock is stored safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
Help reduce waste, stock loss and unnecessary expenditure.
Work closely with maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, hospitality and management teams.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
We're looking for:
Previous experience in a stores, stock control, warehouse, purchasing or similar role.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic IT skills and confidence using stock or inventory systems.
A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A good understanding of workplace health and safety.
The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Experience in a holiday park, hospitality, leisure, retail, facilities or similar environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
