Responsible to Biblins Centre Manager

Salary Band - Administrative (Lower) - £26,950 pro rata
Working hours - Annualised hours, on average 12 hours per week, varying
throughout the season from 5hrs-21hrs per week.
Location - Biblins Youth Campsite, The Doward, Whitchurch, Herefordshire, HR9 6DX.
This is a hybrid working position, and it is expected that the successful applicant would be on site once a week (usually on a Friday) during the open season.

Job Purpose
To support Biblins Youth Campsite to effectively and efficiently manage all aspects of booking administration, providing excellent customer care from enquiries, throughout the booking process, final invoice and all customer communication.
Responsibilities
Centres bookings
● Use our online booking system to confirm bookings, issue invoices, chase
payments and send joining instructions
● Liaise with the online booking system provider to ensure the system
continues to meet our needs
● Respond to all booking enquiries, liaising with the Centre Manager or
Activities Co-ordinator when necessary.
● Undertake reception duties when required (usually on a Friday afternoon),
welcoming guests onto site
Centres administration
● Support the Finance Administrator in processing and reconciling invoices
● Take part in weekly staff meetings (either online or in person) and attend the annual conference (two nights away)
Centres communications
● Support the team with their social media, specifically Instagram and
Facebook
● Identify any necessary changes required to the Biblins website
● Distribute communication and promotional material when required
● Use Canva to create resources
Volunteer support
● Process references and DBS applications for all centre volunteers
● Circulate communications to volunteers as required
● Undertake a handover to volunteer Wardens as and when required And any other tasks in keeping with the described job purpose and graded responsibilities as directed by their line manager.

Essential
● Commitment to the aims & principles of Woodcraft Folk
● Numeracy & literacy
● IT skills especially use of GoogleSuite and Word
● Keeping accurate records
● Effective communication, responding to customers positively and
efficiently through emails, phone calls and in person.
● Efficient approach to managing work demands, dealing efficiently with
requests from multiple customers
● Highly organised, motivated and focused
● Co-operative approach to working with colleagues
Desirable
● Use of an online booking tool
● Understanding of environmental and outdoor education
● Social media within a promotional context
● Working with volunteers
