We're Broadleaf Midlands Tree Care - a small, family-run, award-winning tree surgery business based in Shepshed/ Whitwick. We work across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire delivering high-quality arboricultural services to residential and commercial clients.
We're looking for an experienced arborist who can climb and provide skilled ground support - someone who takes genuine pride in their work, communicates well, and wants to support a small team that does things properly.

Hours Mon–Fri, 07:30–16:00 - sub contract days
Sub contract rate - £negotiable
What the role involves
- Aerial tree surgery - pruning, crown reduction, crown lifting, deadwooding
- Tree removal including felling, sectional dismantling and rigging
- Stump grinding, hedge trimming and emergency tree work
- Ground support - rigging support, chipping, loading, site safety and exclusion zone management
- Operating machinery including woodchippers, stump grinders and chainsaws
- Completing job forms, risk assessments and site sign-offs daily
- Communicating professionally with clients on site
What we're looking for
Essential
- CS30, CS31, CS38 (climbing and aerial rescue) minimum
- Full manual UK driving licence
- Proven experience in aerial tree surgery
- Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance
- Able to start at LE67 by 07:30am
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Felling under & over, Aerial pruning, rigging, FA + F
- NPTC units: stump grinding, woodchipper, brushcutter etc
- Experience with MEWP / cherry picker
- Confident client communication
- Experience using job management apps
- Driving License with towing abilities
