The Royal Air Force Museum is as a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity.
We have two public sites in the Midlands and London and a stored collection at Stafford. Our purpose is to share the RAF story - past, present and future - using the stories of its people and our collections to engage, inform and inspire.

What We Are Looking For
We are currently looking to recruit a creative and enthusiastic Social media & Content Executive to support the delivery of the Museums Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategy. The successful candidate will support the creation of engaging digital content, management of social media platforms, audience engagement, campaign delivery, and analytics reporting to help grow the Museums online presence and visitor engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience creating content for social media platforms, strong communication skills, and an understanding of digital marketing, photography/videography, and audience engagement. They will be organised, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
As a Social media & Content Executive, responsibilities will include:
- Creating and scheduling social media content across multiple platforms
- Supporting digital marketing campaigns and events
- Community management and audience engagement
- Photography and videography support
- Analytics reporting and performance monitoring
- Supporting wider marketing and commercial activities
The post will be based at our Midlands site.
Occasional evening and weekend working may be required to support events, campaigns, and content capture activities.
