This is an excellent opportunity for two qualified activity co-ordinators who have experience of working within mental health services to join a team, working in a rewarding environment where you will get to develop a full range of skills.
Additionally, to the competency framework we offer a comprehensive induction and workforce development plan with a vast array of personal, professional and academic training opportunities enabling you to expand your skill set and evidence-based practices.
Forensic Services are looking for two key members of staff who will work collaboratively in the planning, development and provision of a range of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities for the service users. These will be designed to be appropriate to service user needs and within the established service guidelines, you will be supported by the Nursing Team whilst working collaboratively with the Occupational Therapy Team.

We pride ourselves in providing a high standard of care within a multi-disciplinary approach, which is recovery focused.
We are looking for people who can work relatively independently, using their own skills (art and craft, cooking/baking, gardening, music and exercise, puzzles and games) to support patients in engaging with meaningful activity, and through this promote wellbeing using a client centred approach.
You will need to be able to communicate well with a wide range of individuals, adapting your communication style according to individual need in a responsive manner.
Although this role will primarily focus on the delivery and planning of activities there will be an expectation for the successful candidate to deliver direct patient care and work directly with the nursing team to ensure patient care.
The successful candidates must have completed a relevant Diploma Level 3/ Relevant level 3 or above qualification e.g in health and/or social care, communication, teaching and Numeracy, Literacy Level2 (or equivalent).
