About the Role
GA Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Ofsted Registered Managers and ambitious Deputy Managers looking to progress into their first Registered Manager position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing children’s residential service committed to providing exceptional care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
Skilled Worker (CoS) sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who meet the Home Office eligibility requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a children’s residential home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the highest standards of care.
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, families and other professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within a children’s residential care setting.
- Current Ofsted Registered Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress into a Registered Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and children’s legislation.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards/completed).
- Full UK driving licence.
