Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality products through various welding techniques and fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding and Stick welding to join metal parts accurately and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure proper fabrication and assembly.
- Measure materials precisely using basic math skills to meet project tolerances and standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality, ensuring they meet all specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members on projects, troubleshooting issues as they arise during fabrication or welding processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding techniques such as TIG welding and Stick welding in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and fabrication methods.
- Familiarity with working with sheet metal, structural steel, or similar materials.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint reading.
- Prior experience in assembly work or fabricating complex components is preferred but not required.

Pay: £30.00-£32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 80.0 per week
