VTS Automotive is looking for an experienced self-employed mobile auto electrician or vehicle accessory installer to take on immediate installation work across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
This is subcontract, pay-per-job work. Suitable installers can accept the jobs that fit their availability. Work is already booked, with the opportunity for regular ongoing installations.
The work includes:
- Aftermarket front and rear parking sensor installation
- Dash cam installation
- Heated-seat installation
- Reversing-camera integration
- Vehicle immobiliser installation, where suitably experienced
- Mobile work at customers’ homes, workplaces and vehicle dealerships
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience installing aftermarket parking sensors
- Able to remove and refit vehicle trim safely and professionally
- Confident drilling and colour-matching vehicle bumpers
- Own suitable van or vehicle, tools and mobile phone
- Full UK driving licence
- Public liability insurance
- Reliable, punctual and professional with customers
- Able to provide photographs of previous installations or relevant references
Parking-sensor fitting experience is essential. This is not a general mechanic, servicing or vehicle-diagnostics position.
Payment is made per completed installation, with rates confirmed before each job. Parts and customer bookings can be supplied by VTS Automotive.
