Registered Manager - Sandpiper Care Home - Alford
The Registered Manager will provide leadership and take overall responsibility for the day to day management, supervision and administration of the entire home and will work with the leadership team within the home each morning to discuss governance, quality assurance, occupancy, health and safety, enquiries for the week, appointments, interviews, new residents or new members of staff and any other matters relating to the operational running of the home with person-centred care being the core approach.
You will be familiar with the care requirements of each resident, and, will ensure each resident has a detailed, person-centered care plan and appropriate risk assessments along with a written contract of terms and conditions that, as far as reasonably practicable, are implemented.
You will complete regular audits to ensure reviews and improvements are in place along with a continuous learning culture; and will hold regular meetings in accordance with the Tanglewood Governance Pathway.
It is the Registered Manager's role to comply with all regularity and legal requirements and to ensure our Residents live in a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led environment.
You will be accountable and responsible for well-being of the residents within their care. At all times they will adhere to and promote the policies and procedures of the company and the sector to safeguard our residents.
The Registered Manager will promote a caring and enabling culture where the individual is at the centre of all we do. And, will ensure our residents are treated with respect and dignity.

You will manage, supervise, monitor and assess the level of care delivered in the Home. At all times the Registered Manager will promote best practice and engage with staff to promote a culture of openness and will identify staff who show the aptitude to further develop; and, support them to reach their full potential for the benefit of themselves and the company.
Training and Development:
The Registered Manager will maintain up to date knowledge through continued training and development and, their participation in relevant industry workshops and meetings.
