An opportunity has become available to join the Olive Team at one of our prestigious sites in between 2 sites in Newcastle under Lyme ( ST5 3FG) and Stockport (ST16 1PD) as a Chef
Hours of work: 40hrs - 5 days out of 7
Starting Salary: £17.50 per hour
This role involves travelling between locations, so a valid driving licence and insured vehicle is essential.

What you’ll be doing as a Chef:
- Working across two sites, covering chefs' days off (two per site) and providing support on event days.
- Helping prepare all food and beverages to the highest standards.
- Supporting menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering, and stock control as needed.
- Helping ensure the contract runs smoothly at all times, particularly during periods of sickness, holiday, and similar absences.
- This role involves travelling between locations, so a valid driving licence and insured vehicle is essential.

- Be passionate about providing fantastic food and be able to work effectively within a team.
- Possess excellent culinary skills, as well as being aware of current food trends to help ensure that our food offer is innovative and imaginative.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You will need to be passionate about providing excellent food and customer service and your skills in these areas must be first class. You will have the ability to drive our business forward with exacting standards and an attention to detail.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of cost control to ensure you help achieve budgetary targets, as well as having a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
