Job Summary
We are a small, long established and friendly Architectural practice working in a converted barn in wonderful rural setting with small lakes and footpaths adjacent.
We are seeking an organised and efficient Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and organisational abilities, together with proficiency in various office software programmes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a relaxed rural setting.
Her duties will be 3 days a week: on Monday- Thursday-Friday.
The Secretary will be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities.
Duties
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, phone, and postal services with professional phone etiquette.
- Organising appointments, meetings, and schedules using Microsoft Office.
- Maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Supporting other administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Requirements
- Previous office experience demonstrating organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good typing speed, and familiarity with digital voice dictation and with clerical procedures such as filing and record management.
- Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills.
Pay: £26,437.00-£30,000.00 per year
