Gold Buyer & Consultant
We are an established Scandinavian company specializing in mobile gold purchasing and are expanding our operations in Leeds, United Kingdom.
We are looking for a self-employed independent contractor to work as a Gold Buyer & Consultant in the Leeds area. This is not an employed position. You will work as an independent contractor and receive training, operational support, customer appointment support, and access to our established operational systems.
We provide the specialized mobile purchasing vehicle, training, operational systems, marketing support, and ongoing operational guidance. No franchise fee, buy-in, or upfront investment is required from successful applicants.
About the role
As a Gold Buyer & Consultant, you will represent our company in the Leeds area using a fully equipped mobile purchasing vehicle.
You will meet customers who wish to sell gold, jewellery, silver, coins, watches, and other valuables, providing a professional, transparent, and respectful customer experience.
This is an in-person, mobile, customer-facing role that involves travelling within the Leeds area.
Key responsibilities
- Meet customers through scheduled appointments and local buying events
- Evaluate gold, jewellery, silver, coins, watches, and other valuable items in line with company procedures
- Explain the purchasing process clearly and professionally
- Negotiate purchases and complete transactions in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company's professional standards
- Develop customer relationships within the Leeds area
- Travel regularly using the company-provided mobile purchasing vehicle

Compensation
This is a self-employed, commission-based independent contractor opportunity.
Compensation is based on completed purchases and results. Earnings vary depending on activity, territory, and results. No minimum earnings are guaranteed.
Candidate profile
We're looking for someone who is:
- Professional, reliable, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Confident meeting new people and building relationships
- Willing to travel within the Leeds area
- Organized and able to manage daily administrative tasks
- Experience in sales, retail, customer service, buying, or a similar customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential
English language requirement
A good working knowledge of English is required.
As an international company, recruitment, onboarding, training, internal communication, reporting, and company documentation are conducted in English. Applicants should therefore be comfortable communicating professionally in both written and spoken English.
