Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within a private household. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the household.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of all rooms in the residence
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces
- Laundry duties including washing, ironing, and folding clothes
- Changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms are tidy
- Assisting with meal preparation and cleaning up after meals
- Organising and tidying up communal areas
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant person
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or within a hospital setting is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy within the household
