Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care service. You will ensure the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, while maintaining full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities
* Register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered Manager.
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service.
* Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and CQC Fundamental Standards.
* Recruit, supervise, support and develop care staff.
* Monitor the quality of care through audits, spot checks and quality assurance systems.
* Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate and regularly reviewed.
* Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents and accidents appropriately.
* Promote person-centred care, dignity, choice and independence.
* Develop positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals.
* Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving an Outstanding CQC rating.
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience managing a domiciliary care service.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or working towards).
* Thorough knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* Experience with staff recruitment, supervision and performance management.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, medication management and risk assessment.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
* Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager.
* Successful experience leading a Good or Outstanding CQC-rated service.
* Experience of business development and service growth.
* Train the Trainer qualifications or other relevant certifications.
