You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, responsible for accounts payable processes, and working closely with the team to ensure all project costs are recorded through Xero accounting software .

Duties
- Processing invoices and recording purchase/sales transactons
- Reconciling bank transactions and company accounts
- Preparing and sending customer invoices
- Checking supplier invoices and arranging payments
- Updating accounting records and spreadsheets
- Assisting with VAT returns and other financial reports
- Chasing outstanding customer payments
- Assisting with payroll and employee expense records
- Filing and organising financial documents
- Booking accomodation for site teams
- Supporting business accounts with month-end accounts and general finance tasks
- Cashflow forcasting
Experience
- Prior experience or internship in accounting or finance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero
- Basic understanding of financial accounting principles and processes
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrated interest in financial services or related fields is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and procedures while maintaining a positive attitude
