Job Summary
We are seeking skilled self employed Floor Layers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and resin floor laying and willing to travel nation wide, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for installing and finishing flooring in residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
wage negotiable depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Install various types of flooring, including epoxy, polyurethane screeds, polymer screeds, self leveling epoxy and coatings
- Prepare subfloors by grinding, cleaning, levelling, and repairing as necessary
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the duration of the project
- Abide by site health and safety rules
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of laying floors
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in flooring installation
- Strong floor laying skills with an understanding of building materials and techniques
- Previous experience in construction painting is a plus
- Full uk driving licence
