2nd Fix Joiner
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Rate: £23.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 3 weeks
Edge Contracting are recruiting for an experienced 2nd Fix Joiner to join a busy project in Newton Aycliffe.
This role will primarily involve installing pre-hung door frames and doors, so previous experience in high-quality second fix joinery is essential.
Duties
- Installing pre-hung door frames and doors.
- Carrying out all aspects of 2nd fix joinery.
- Hanging, adjusting and fitting doors to a high standard.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Working closely with the site management team to meet programme deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
- Following all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Proven experience in 2nd fix joinery.
- Experience fitting pre-hung door sets and frames.
- Own tools and full PPE.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Working Hours
Flexible start times available:
- 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Or 8:00am start
- Or 8:30am start
