Working Hours: Long working hours, approximately 8–12 hours per day
Schedule: 4 consecutive days per month (based around horse racing events)
Daily Rate: £150.00
Your Responsibilities
* Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, pot wash, and storage areas.
* Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, trays, and cookware to the highest hygiene standards.
* Assist the chefs with basic food preparation, including peeling, chopping, portioning, and preparing ingredients.
* Help with unpacking and organising deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
* Support the kitchen team with general day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth service.
* Empty bins and maintain clean waste and recycling areas.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures.
* Ensure workstations remain clean, organised, and ready for service.
* Assist with packing and preparing catering orders for private jet departures when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous Kitchen Porter experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
*A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
* Good attention to cleanliness and organisation.
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to support the whole kitchen team.
* A genuine interest in food and hospitality, with opportunities to develop your skills further.
