We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant/Cook to join our team. We are looking for someone to work nights plus every other weekend as Cook. Some experience in a care home cook role is needed.Sponsorship available
Duties
* To prepare well balanced nutritious meals for our residents every other weekend.
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record health conditions, reporting any concerns promptly
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life
- Support with medication administration under supervision, following strict protocols.
Skills
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within a care home or home care environment
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Driving skills are advantageous for supporting clients outside the care setting
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: £12.74-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 – 42.0 per week
