An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join our Residential Lettings team based at our Skegness office. You will be responsible for delivering quality and reliable administrative support and contribute to the full management of each property which includes, advertising, viewings, inspections and making sure all properties are in line with the current legislation. The hours of work will be within normal office hours with Saturday mornings on a rota.
Key Responsibilities
· Assisting in providing legislation information to new and existing clients.
· Effectively resolving any client queries or issues which may result in contacting contractors to attend the property.
· Providing a ‘Fully Managed’ service including agreements, maintenance, serving Section Notices and conducting property inspections.
· Accurate record keeping e.g. I.D checks, safety certificate due dates, arranging for a contractor to attend before deadlines and ensuring the database is updated.
· Keeping client’s needs the focus and making sure high standards of customer care are delivered at all times.
· Attending properties alone to conduct inspections or to accompany viewings for new tenants.
· Preparing tenancy agreement packs and completing signing appointments.
What we require from you
· Previous experience of property lettings would be an advantage although not essential.
· A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is a must.
· Excellent telephone manner and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals.
· Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of applications with an ability to learn new systems quickly.
· Good IT skills.
· A keen eye to detail and record keeping.
· The skills to lone work or work as a team.
· The ability to be in control of your own workload and appointments.
Job Type: Circa 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm plus one in four Saturdays 9.00am to 12.00pm.
Work Location: Skegness office based
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
