Electrical Engineer

21 shifts holiday.
Avg. 42 hours per week
12 hours shifts – 7am to 19.00 - working 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Responsible for repairs and maintenance of all production related equipment, including breakdown repairs, fault finding and continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and general site facility tasks.
The successful candidate must have:
- Relevant training NVQ/C&G Level 3 Electrical Engineering or have served an apprenticeship.
- Have experience working as an Industrial Electrical Shift Engineer. Any experience in the printing industry would be preferable but not essential.
- Experience with maintenance programmes within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Electromechanical skills a definite advantage.
- Have excellent communication, organisational and team work skills.
- Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.
Training and development opportunities available
· Knowledge of drives, plc’s and 24volt control circuits
· Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential
· Be able to demonstrate the necessary flexibility, enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy department.
