Chemfix products has several vacancies available for factory Operatives.
Monday – Friday 06.00 – 14.00 / 14.00 – 22.00 rotating shifts.
TITLE:
Manufacturing Operative
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Supervisor
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
Maintain High Levels of Quality
Maintain High Levels of Health and Safety
Keep to a Plan
Any other reasonable duties required by Management
MAIN DUTIES:
To operate process equipment and manufacture intermediate or finished goods against batch ticket details and quality specification.
To ensure required samples are taken to the laboratory
To clean and maintain a clean work area at all times
To be able to fill in paperwork correctly, at the beginning, during and at the end of a job
To assist in the training of new staff or agency personnel when working on the same task
OTHER DUTIES:
Keep work area clean and tidy.
Be able to move and operate a pallet truck
Follow required Health & Safety procedures relevant to work activities.
To ensure good housekeeping is maintained and waste kept to a minimum
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
To be able to read, write and understand Basic English.
Knowledge of maths
