Trusty Pet Supplies is recruiting for a part time retail assistant for our busy pet superstore in Derby.
The role for Pet Shop Sales Assistant is 29 hours per week and is a permanent position. The hours for this role are as follows and include a 30 minute break:
Monday 8.00am - 4.30pm
Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm
Saturday 8.00am - 5.30pm
Sunday 10am-2pm
You will have Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off.
Total 29 hours
Previous retail experience is required as well as a friendly helpful attitude towards customers and fellow team members. Full training will be given.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Trusty Pet Supplies Team.
The Role:
Provide the best customer service and advice to pet owners.
Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.
Assist with checking off and putting away deliveries, ensuring stock rotation is completed.
General day to day and housekeeping retail tasks.
Must be able to use your own initiative as well as work in part of a team.
As the biggest raw food Superstore in the UK we have a huge display of 50 freezers so there is also an element of filling these freezers from the big walk in freezer and checking off deliveries which need to go into the freezer.
